Since there was no Cash to buy a kit, i used a mini lathe and also a milling machine to built most of the parts. Of course i had to make some changes of the original design due to the limitation of my equipment. The motor is a Rotax 503 and a custom built primary reduction drive 1/2 with certifugal clutch similar to the Mosquito. In conclusion...there's is a lot of job to be done but it's a soooo unique and interesting project. Making the main rotor blade with aluminum 7075  about 4000$-6000$ with used blades and used motor. Rotor Head it's not actually a mini lathe but compare to other industrial lathes, it is small chinese lathe with a distance between the chuck and the live center 20" and a chuck diam approx 6". With this lathe I did most of the parts, but to be honest you need a more stable heavy lathe with at least 40" travel so you can actually make anything. Aso the "center mast" of the mosquito is 4130 steel tube, it is a very difficult
