Senegal's first tower equipped with Helipad

Status: Approved, construction due to begin in the end of 2007, tower due to open between 2009 and 2011.

The tower will cost an estimated 150 million euros (210 million US dollars) to build, financed by Libya. It will contain among other things a five star hotel with 350 rooms, a conference hall sitting 2500 people, a shopping mall, and two underground levels of parking. A helicopter landing pad will be located on top of the tower.
