Avio Brasil was founded by Luigino Fiocco in September 2003. The production facility will be located in the industrial and harbour complex of Pecem, a few miles from Fortaleza, the capital city of the State of Ceará (Brazil).
Avio Brasil has signed an agreement with the State of Cearà (Brazil) for the manufacturing of the innovative light helicopter produced by Avio International Group. This agreement allows Avio Brasil to build an aeronautical production facility, which enjoy financial and economical benefits foreseen by the Brazilian State. On June 2007 the Brazilian government, through its Development Agency ADENE, has approved the “Carta Consulta” for the preliminary allowance of a financing to the Company.
This financing decree is actually suspended, waiting for the necessary demonstration of financial capability by the Company shareholders.
Avio Brasil will occupy a production area of about 50.000 sq m and will have about 730 employees.
