Hybrid Ultralight Helicopter

The enterprise is engaged in CNC machining of machined parts. From the beginning, he has been a supplier of many aircraft manufacturing companies, so we have gained considerable experience with high quality standards. Based on the passion for flying and our team of outstanding experts, we decided in 2008 to start a light helicopter development.  The helicopter as one of the most advanced aircraft, which is one of the most complicated flying structures, was a great challenge. In the first round, our aim was to be a workable and testable model. Until the first take-off of the prototype model HC-01, a lot of work was done and small failures made it difficult to complete. We got help from colleagues from Budapest University of Óbuda and Bánki Donat at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Security Engineering and many external experts.  We've spent the first six months looking at working models for the best solutions. In our country, more people have tried and ...

Personal helicopters could transform commuting An artist's impression of the cockpit of a personal helicopter system of the future. © Gareth Padfield, Flight Stability and Control Commuters could be lifted out of the noise and pollution of Europe’s overcrowded cities thanks to a group of researchers who are laying down the groundwork for the development of a personal helicopter system as an alternative to land-based travel. It's one of a handful of radical ideas for improving Europe's congested cities that also includes hydrogen-powered postal delivery vehicles and electric boats riding on a cushion of air. Emissions-saving hybrid electric cars are becoming increasingly popular, and the fuel efficiency of standard cars improved by 22 % during the period 1995-2009, according to data supplied by the European Petroleum Industry Association. On top of that, hydrogen-powered buses whose only emission is water vapour are now being tested on Europe's roads as part o...

Fairfax Media reported last week that Sydney textbook rental service Zookal and start-up drone courier service Flirtey had teamed up to offer a delivery service for textbooks by March 2014. The service is planned to start on campus at Sydney University and expand nationally before extending to other industries, allowing delivery of items weighing up to 2 kilograms. "Pie in the sky": Commercial drone operator Coptercam's chief pilot Hai Tran.  Photo: Tony McDonough It has been called a "pie in the sky" idea by commercial drone operator Coptercam, whose chief pilot Hai Tran believes it won't be technically possible or receive regulatory approval. He says it's "virtually impossible" for Flirtey to conduct drone courier deliveries autonomously today. Rules for flying drones in Australia stipulate that a pilot must...
