Hybrid Ultralight Helicopter
The enterprise is engaged in CNC machining of machined parts. From the beginning, he has been a supplier of many aircraft manufacturing companies, so we have gained considerable experience with high quality standards. Based on the passion for flying and our team of outstanding experts, we decided in 2008 to start a light helicopter development.
The helicopter as one of the most advanced aircraft, which is one of the most complicated flying structures, was a great challenge. In the first round, our aim was to be a workable and testable model. Until the first take-off of the prototype model HC-01, a lot of work was done and small failures made it difficult to complete. We got help from colleagues from Budapest University of Óbuda and Bánki Donat at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Security Engineering and many external experts.
We've spent the first six months looking at working models for the best solutions. In our country, more people have tried and are trying to build a helicopter today, but in fact a well-functioning model has not yet been built, so we are pioneers in this respect. The flying properties of the structure outweigh its competitors, and its price is not a negligible factor: it is about 20 to 25 percent cheaper to produce the same quality than other manufacturers. It is a great challenge to meet all your expectations and to compete with the major manufacturers.
At present, a two-helicopter-based machine is being tested, which is a novelty in the version with the new electrical rescue system. Besides this, the design and preparation of the two-person machine is under way. Our goal is to build a reliable, semi-luxurious helicopter, which is suitable for educational purposes.
The coach of Hungaro Copter is Tamás Rács, one of the most experienced and recognized pilots in our country. In the expert's opinion, he said: the domestic helicopter not only has good dynamics and steering ability, but the weight-to-horse ratio also outperforms the usual. The Hungaro-Copter has also appeared on a number of domestic and international exhibitions, and it has also been seen on domestic flights during operation.
