Md. Ashir Uddin, a third semester student of electrical department of Samshun Nahar Polytechnic Institute, a renowned technical educational institution of the city established by Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj M. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, has amazed everyone by inventing the airplane.

He made airplanes, warplanes, drones, helicopters and speedboats only with strong willpower and mind. Just as airplanes can fly, boats float on water.

Md. Ashir, a 21-year-old young scientist of Chittagong's Banskhali coast, a third semester student of the electrical department of Samshun Nahar Polytechnic Institute, made these with his own willpower.

He is now at the pinnacle of success that is enviable to many. His own hand-made airplanes, fighter jets, helicopters and drones fly in the sky and his speed boat floats on the water. His success story has already spread on social media and YouTube.

Md. Ashir is the elder son of Shahab Uddin, a businessman of Ward No. 2 of Banshkhali Coastal Puichhari Union. He is currently 21 years old. From 2018, he made the first small airplane with only his own mind. Ashir's research did not stop after that. War planes, helicopters, drones and high speed speedboats are being made one after another.

He has made airplanes, helicopters, drones and fighter jets in the sky several times. The young scientist Ashi also launched his own spotty boat in the water.

Little scientist Ashir said that the weight of the plane he made is three kg. It can fly continuously for 35 minutes at a speed of four kilometers.

According to Ashir, he now needs government patronage and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's favor. According to Ashir, "If I get the attention of the honorable Prime Minister, I can manufacture airplanes, helicopters, drones and speedboats in the country."

His cousin and local UP member Abul Kashem said, they are three brothers. Ashir is the eldest. In 2015, he passed SSC in humanities from Puichhari Ijjatia High School and HSC in humanities in 2017 from Master Nazir Ahmad Degree College. Having a strong desire to discover, despite not being a science student, he passed HSC and was admitted to Samshun Nahar Haroon Polytechnic Institute, established by the current city mayor M. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury in Bahaddarhat, Chittagong.

Ashir also said that his house now has a small laboratory. From there he builds various designs of airplanes, Boeing helicopters, speedboats and flies them in the sky under his own control. His big hope is that he will build a large laboratory if he gets government support.

When asked how he made these things without being a student of science, he said that he made them with the strength of his mind.

Ashir said that emergency services can be provided easily with the drones he has made. He claimed that things like spraying pesticides in fields, delivering emergency medicine and blood can be done.

In this regard, Samshun Nahar Haroon Polytechnic Institute Principal Engineer Md. Azizul Haque said that the success of any student is a matter of pride for the institution. Ashi has been doing this innovative work for a long time. The teachers of our institution have helped him in various ways at different times. We are very happy with his success today. We will be by his side and provide necessary support in his higher research work.
